EnABLE's knowledge and capacity building activities in Guatemala, which were initiated in FY22 and are currently ongoing, focus (1) on consulting and raising awareness among stakeholders and target communities and (2) on enhancing the capacity of local civil society organizations and government entities to implement and monitor the country’s emission reductions program and benefit sharing plan.  

The EnABLE country programming proposal is currently under review by the EnABLE Steering Committee and focuses on forest-dependent Indigenous Peoples and traditional local communities, particularly women and youth.
