The World Bank’s Enhancing Access to Benefits while Lowering Emissions (EnABLE) Annual Report 2025 is now available. The report presents updates from fiscal year 2025 on EnABLE’s efforts to strengthen social inclusion in results-based climate finance across World Bank–funded programs in 14 countries.

In FY25, EnABLE launched new programs in Ghana, Lao PDR, and Mozambique, and endorsed additional projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Guatemala. These initiatives support Indigenous Peoples, local communities, and civil society organizations to participate in and benefit from climate finance while promoting inclusive and equitable approaches to benefit sharing.

The report also features the release of EnABLE’s Social Inclusion Framework for Results-Based Climate Finance Initiatives and companion guide Good Practices for Social Inclusion Targeting Interventions, developed with CIFOR-ICRAF. It highlights new partnerships, capacity-building initiatives, and the launch of EnABLE’s dedicated website and joint newsletter with other World Bank climate funds.

EnABLE also continues to expand its collaboration under the World Bank’s Scaling Climate Action by Lowering Emissions (SCALE) program, working to embed social inclusion and equity in climate finance at all levels.
